What is a therapeutic session
A therapeutic session is a reserved date and time (60 minutes), where you meet with the therapist to work through your concerns or transformation.
There is no established period of time or number of session that is mandatory. The number of sessions you require is ultimately your decision. However, you should remember that what took you years to become, takes a period of time to work through. One should not expect miracles - meaning you do not change immediately. Even though you will sense some movement after each session, any kind of change takes effort and a period of time to accomplish.
Each session is strictly private and unquestionably confidential. No information is ever disclosed with regard to an individual to any private or governmental agency without the direct written consent by that individual.
What are the goals of a therapeutic session
There are three important goals for each therapeutic session:
ONE
To become a qualitatively new person - different from the person who began the session. In other words, to begin the process of self-transformation.
TWO
To eliminate a troublesome scene (meaning a particular memory) and the bad feelings associated with that scene. In other words, to reduce or completely eradicate a specific time in a person's life which was associated with a bad or awful feeling.
THREE
To become the person one has the ability to become.
